day services

We offer placement in three innovative day program models: Hope Autism Solutions, Volunteer Action Program and SkillsUp Pre-Vocational Training Program.

Discovering growth & connection

At Our House, our Day Services programs are thoughtfully designed to empower adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities to lead richer, more engaged lives—whether that means building practical skills, exploring new interests or simply enjoying community outings. From small-group activities and personalized life-skills coaching to volunteer projects and recreational excursions, each participant follows a tailor-made plan that balances structured learning with social connection.

Under the guidance of experienced DSPs and behavior specialists, our Day Services programs focus on fostering independence, enhancing self-esteem and creating lasting friendships, all within a warm, supportive environment. By blending in-center programming with real-world experiences, we help every individual discover new strengths, broaden their horizons and feel truly at home in our community. Additionally, we actively partner with families and caregivers to set meaningful goals, track progress and celebrate each milestone. This approach ensures every participant’s journey is as rewarding as it is transformative.

Hope Autism Solutions (HAS)

Hope Autism Solutions (HAS) provides adults with autism an environment that supports personal growth, learning, empowerment and self-esteem. This daily life-enhancement program operates from state-of-the-art facilities while spending most of each day in the community.

HAS helps participants develop friendships and strengthen social skills through community-based outings and recreational activities. The program maintains a DSPs-to-client ratio of one to three, with trained behaviorists and BCBA consultants who develop individualized behavior plans when needed. Currently, we operate our HAS program sites out of Bridgewater, Livingston, New Providence and Woodbridge.
