Charting Career Journeys
Our House is committed to empowering individuals with disabilities by helping them achieve greater independence and purpose through meaningful employment. Our Employment Services are designed to support individuals in securing and thriving in competitive work environments that match their skills, interests and goals. We assist participants in exploring a wide range of employment and internship opportunities—both paid and unpaid—tailored to their abilities and aspirations. Once a position is obtained, participants receive personalized hands-on training and on-the-job support from dedicated job coaches to ensure a successful transition into the workplace.
Job coaches are essential members of each participant’s employment journey. They provide ongoing monthly support and help individuals master their job responsibilities, build confidence and develop workplace skills. Just as importantly, our job coaches serve as advocates—not only for the employees they support but also for the employers who welcome them into their teams.
Our House believes that everyone deserves the opportunity to contribute meaningfully to their community through work. By providing individualized guidance, consistent support and open collaboration with employers, our Employment Services create opportunities for personal growth, financial independence and long-term success in the workforce.
