Our House’s vibrant recreation program creates meaningful opportunities for adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities to engage in fun, social activities while building lasting friendships and developing new skills. From striking up conversations over strikes and spares at bowling to expressing creativity through Paint and Sip nights, participants discover their talents and interests in a supportive, inclusive environment.

Each activity provides opportunities to build both fine and gross motor skills, cognitive abilities and independence. From the hand-eye coordination to the creative problem-solving, participants continuously grow and challenge themselves.

Participants make decisions about which activities to join, how to express themselves and how to interact with others, fostering autonomy and self-determination in a structured setting.

Our program recognizes that recreation isn’t just about having fun, it’s about building community, developing potential and celebrating the unique contributions each person brings to our group.
